our supporters
Our wonderful supporters help the charity and its people in so many ways. We are always humbled by everyone’s generosity.
The Drift Golf Club
We are thrilled to announce that Headway Surrey has been chosen as The Drift’s charity of the year for 2025.
The magnificent Drift was created in East Horsley in 1975 by Major winner Sir Henry Cotton and architect Robert Sandow.
Following recent significant investment, the course has flourished with a vibrant membership community and visitors from around the country. The Drift is renowned not only for its golf course but also as a venue for weddings, parties, functions, meetings and other celebrations in our light and spacious function rooms with beautiful views of the surrounding golf course and woodland.
We are incredibly grateful to be named their charity of the year 2025.
Adam Dickens - web development and photography
We were thrilled to work with Adam Dickens in not only the creating our website, but with photography at our centre.
We wanted people to see what’s possible after brain injury, showcasing the work we and our clients do, and the fun we have. Adam’s pictures captured our team and clients so well.
Check out Adam’s own charity: Taking Pictures, Changing Lives Foundation - a global team of filmmakers and photographers, helping charities to raise awareness and funds for their life-changing work.
Grayshott Pottery
A big thank you to Grayshott Pottery for their generous donation of beautiful crockery! Grayshott Pottery has been producing ceramic giftware and other commissioned pieces since 1956. This donation will make a real difference to our rehabilitation centre, adding to our already warm and welcoming setting. Thank you for helping our clients one cuppa at a time!
We received more generous support from Grayshott Pottery with a gift from their beautiful Emporium, a Christmas donation of chocolates for our clients. We are so very grateful for their generous support.
Creative Transformations
We are partnering with Creative Transformations in making three short films titled ‘User guide: Recovering from Brain Injury’. The films will clients at Headway Surrey. They will tell the story of recovery from brain injury from the inside and will be centred on three themes:
- Art and Creativity
- Connecting with nature
- Carers and professionals – what I wished I’d known at the beginning!
The films will be ready to view in May 2025 – watch this space!

The design, development, and launch of this website have only been made possible through the generous donations from the Surrey Councillors as well as the Rotary Clubs of Farnborough and Godalming.
This essential advancement in our services will enable brain injury survivors to more easily access vital information about their condition. It will help reduce isolation, foster a sense of belonging, and provide the much-needed support for individuals and their families in our community. Additionally, this platform will allow us to accept online donations, helping to generate the crucial funds needed to expand our services and continue supporting brain injury survivors in Surrey and the surrounding areas.
On behalf of the Headway Surrey Community, thank you.
