Charlotte Bagchi

Reablement Specialist

Charlotte Bagchi joined Headway Surrey as a temporary administrator in November 2023. The role initially appealed to her because her life partner had spoken so highly of Headway as an organisation and the support, they had given him when he suffered a brain injury in his teenage years. This personal experience sparked her interest in the field and motivated her to learn more.  In July 2024, Charlotte applied and was accepted into the role of reablement specialist and has been studying specialist Brain Tree training with Kit Malia to further her knowledge.

Charlotte’s roots lie in Bedfordshire, where she spent her formative years. After earning a Business Studies degree, she made the move to Surrey and began a career in a Market Research. Later in life and while raising her family in Woking, Charlotte transitioned into the charity sector, joining Disability Challengers. Here, she worked to showcase the charity’s impact on the children and young people it supports, and their families, to supporters, funders and partners.   In her free time, Charlotte always has a book on the go, is a member of a book club, and is a regular at dance fitness classes.
