Maggee joined Headway Surrey in 2015, as Finance and Admin Manager, she transitioned to Joint CEO with Sonja Freebody and then full CEO in July 2024.

She has lived and worked in and around Guildford all her life. Her early experiences were gained working for a knitwear company, a brewery, a publishing company and an examination board, a self-employed Secretary/PA/Bookkeeper.  She was also an an Emergency First Responder for a time.

She holds the Certificate for Brain Injury Awareness, Behaviour and Cognition , advanced training in Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), first aid and mental first aid training and also an Accounting AAT Certificate.

Maggee won the Lord Lieutenancy of Surrey Award in 2021, in recognition of exceptional services and dedication in supporting specialist services to survivors of brain injury and their families.
