Rebecca joined Headway Surrey as a Trustee in 2025. She brings over 10 years’ experience in health policy, strategy and communications in the UK pharmaceutical industry as well as markets across Asia Pacific, including Australia, South Korea and India.  She is currently Director of Government Affairs at Novo Nordisk.  She is proud of starting her career at Headway UK – initiating national campaigns to change policy in the interests of people affected by brain injury.

Rebecca was elected as a local politician in South West London between 2018 and 2022 and appointed Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care where she led the Council’s response to COVID-19.  Coupled with roles on the Boards of an NHS hospital and local Healthwatch she is keen to support Headway Surrey in its relationships with health systems, service providers and local authorities.

Rebecca lives in Guildford with her husband, and loves nothing more than long (sunny!) walks in Surrey.
