Our Community Engagement Coordinator regularly visits hospitals and rehabilitation units to offer information on our services to those who have suffered an acquired brain injury, and to staff.  Explaining the range of services we provide, how to refer, and how to seek help from Headway Surrey, can be useful to know for help after discharge. They also ensure supporting resources are available to patients and staff on support available.

We visit:

• Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton
• St George's Hospital, Tooting
• Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford
• Frimley Park Hospital
• East Surrey Hospital, Reigate
• QEF, Leatherhead
• Bradley Unit, Woking Community Hospital
• St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey
• Epsom General Hospital

And additional hospitals periodically: Walton & Weybridge, Milford, Farnham, Kingston, The Poplars, Ashford, Heatherwood and Wexham

As part of the Community Engagement role, presentations can be arranged by staff who would benefit to know where patients can get further support after discharge.
