Richard joined Headway Surrey as a trustee in July 2025. Having grown up in Surrey he recently returned here for a new work venture.

He has almost 30 years of experience in operational and strategic management in specialist healthcare services. A registered Occupational Therapist by profession his clinical passion is working with clients with an acquired brain injury.

He has developed a number of new services, most recently opening Fernhill Neurological Centre, a 60 bedded inpatient facility on the Surrey/Hampshire border.

Outside of work he is a keen cook and enjoys boating.
