Brain Injury ID Card
The Headway Brain Injury Identity Card is designed to help the general public, Police and emergency services to more easily identify brain injury survivors and ensure that they receive an appropriate response and support.
The card provides brain injury survivors with added confidence in everyday social scenarios.
Each card is personalised with a photo and the key areas of difficulties the holder may face. Therefore helping the card holder to explain the effects of their brain injury and to request any support they may need.
These are extremely useful in busy situations, on public transport, taxis, in shops, cafes, pubs and banks etc.
If you have proof of a recognised brain injury you can apply for a free card.
Click HERE to go straight to application page. The application is quite a long process, so if you need support, we are happy to help.
