Link workers and hospitals
Link Worker Talks
Talks can be provided by Headway Surrey's Link Worker, Gill Edwards on our services. These talks are suitable for health and social care professionals, lawyers, case managers, sports clubs etc. She will explain the range of services we provide, how to refer, and how to seek support.
These talks can be delivered online or in person. The length of the talk can be adapted to suit your groups requirements. Usually no longer than 30minutes, followed by Q&A. Mini 10 minute talks can also be delivered.
Link Worker Visits
Gill Edwards is now visiting the following on a monthly basis:

- And additional hospitals periodically: Walton & Weybridge, Milford, Farnham, Kingston, The Poplars, Ashford, Heatherwood and Wexham

Gill will be at these venues to answer questions about Headway Surrey's range of services and to help you decide which services might be suitable for you or your loved one on discharge.
Also whilst in hospital or after discharge your family or carers may wish to attend our 6-week Family and Carers Survival Toolkit Course or Counselling Course.
Please email: link@headwaysurrey.org Gill Edwards for details or see posters in the hospital.
These visits are FREE. However, as a charity we rely on your generous donations to cover the cost of our services. Please consider making a donation online via our donations link. Or consider running your own fundraising event, or making us your charity of the year.
