Introduction to Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and other specialised topics presented by Jo Jones Baxter, Rehabilitation Coordinator. Free 30-minute zoom session, however, as a registered charity donations are always welcome to help support our clients. Sponsorship also welcome from companies, contact details below.
If time allows there is an opportunity for Q&A at the end.
Topics include: Emotional regulation, insight, communication skills and more.
All professionals welcome: lawyers, case managers, health professionals, GPs, social care professionals, OTs, SLTs, physiotherapists, benefit providers, domestic abuse organisations, veterans, CAB, employers with persons returning to work with a brain injury etc.
Held on different weekdays and at slightly different times to allow as many people as possible to participate.

Professional training
Would you like a tailored training session to fit your staff or group needs. Approximately 90 minutes and includes Q&A.
Some of the topics previously covered have been the effects of brain injury and fatigue, brain injury and information processing problems, how to understand a brain injury, injury lawyers and client issues.
Your staff or group can ask general questions to improve their knowledge of brain injury in connection with their work and we will provide answers that may include ideas and strategies to use in problematic situations. This is a FREE SERVICE and is available to anyone with an Acquired Brain Injury.
One to One Individual or Family Sessions
We offer one to one education sessions on zoom for individuals or family groups to educate and support on individual issues.
Young Persons Group 18-35
We have a range of sessions suitable for young people aged between 18 and 35.
Walking Talking Group
Adults with a brain injury learn about the brain and changes to cognition, fatigue, emotion and communication.
Understanding Brain Injury Course
Adults with a brain injury learn about the brain and changes to cognition, fatigue, emotion and communication.
Link workers and hospitals
We can provide tailored training to your staff or group. This can be a presentation on a particular topic or a question-and-answer session.
