Headway Surrey coffee morning is back

We’re delighted to be restarting our Headway Surrey Coffee Morning on Zoom, giving people affected by brain injury the chance to connect, chat and enjoy some friendly company from the comfort of home.

Our first session will take place on:

Wednesday 30 September
11.00am – 12.00pm
Online via Zoom

The Coffee Morning will then run every two weeks, providing a regular opportunity to catch up with others, share experiences and stay connected with the Headway Surrey community.

The sessions are relaxed and informal and are open to people living with brain injury, as well as family members and carers. There is no pressure to talk about brain injury – you are very welcome simply to join us for a coffee and some company.

We talk about all sorts of things, the weather, sport, hobbies, days out, current affairs, cooking, gardening, holidays, problems we are facing, solutions that we have found, how we received our brain injuries, anything really!

Peer Support - talk about brain injury and what you or other members of the group are going through (the good and bad things).  You are not alone, and we understand.

Guest Speakers - every now and again we have the privilege of being joined by a guest speaker. Members of the group suggest topics that interest them, and we do our best to find a speaker to support this. We welcome your suggestions.

Take part from your home, or wherever you can log-on, grab a coffee and join in.  You will realise you are not alone with your injury. Everyone helps with advice, stories and encouragement; be a part of our group!
